RAPRAVE lands in Tokyo, Japan for the next installment of [SEASON0NE]. The Spirit of the Rave zips to the future for an inaugural venture into Asia. An intimate club hidden in Shibuya serves as the setting for our collection of handpicked sounds that oscillate between the worlds of hip-hop and electronic music. Joining as our [SEASON0NE] alums, Detroit’s [Dastardly Kids] and New York’s [EDEN] get us started with a live performance and a DJ set respectively. Rounding out our cast from home is Queens’ quintessential jungle and d&b purveyor, [NIGELTHREETIMES], as he goes b2b with a [special guest DJ] representing Magic City. We reconnect with Montreal’s club crusher [Martyn Bootyspoon] who arrives ready to deliver a night of flirty dance explorations for his Japanese debut. Here to represent the domestic scene, first we welcome Osaka’s FULLHOUSE resident [SAMO]. Born in New York to parents who witnessed Paradise Garage, [SAMO]’s style is dance-centered and focuses on feelings of liberation. One of Tokyo’s most trusted joins us as well: locally certified and internationally recognized [ShioryBradshaw] serves up a flavorful mix of bass, experimental and more to close out our night.
